EUSA is very proud to be a partner of Asiana Airlines, the famous and several times awarded carrier, member of the Star Alliance group. Asiana Airlines and EUSA have signed a three years contract in 2010, including cooperation in promoting the European Universities Championships and the respected Airline. The Headquarters of Asiana Airlines is located in Gwangju City, the host of the Summer Universiade 2015.

At the occasion of the 74th AIPS Congress in Seoul, EUSA EC Member and Treasurer a.i. Leonz Eder, accompanied by FISU EC member Verena Burk, promoted FISU and its activities in the field of university sport, especially the Universiades. Mr Eder used the opportunity to meet among others the former Vice Mayor of Gwangju and Secretary General of the Universiade Gwangju 2015, Yoon-suk Kim at the Asiana Airlines Headquarters. Asiana Airlines will be the official Airline for the games in Gwangju.
