The Israeli Academic Sports Association - ASA Israel launched a new league for female students in Israel.

This is the first women Futsal league in Israel, opened only for students. The league is organised in collaboration of the Israeli football association.

ASA has a long term goal to improve women participating in student sport. The women's futsal league is now one of three main leagues for women which include also running and orienteering.
