On the February 13, 2013, the General Assembly of the Academic Sport Association of Israel - ASA assembled at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. The assembly elected a new Executive Committee.

The new President of ASA Israel is Mr Victor Hadad, CEO of the sport Center at the University of Ben Gurion in Beer Shiva. Mr Hadad is also the National Coach of the Israeli National Futsal Team. Beforehand, Mr Hadad was the Head Coach of the Israeli Professional Football league for 10 years.

Mr Hadad has replaced Mr Ari Rozenzwig who has retired after 16 years as President. The Assembly of ASA nominated Mr Rozenzwig an honorary Member of ASA Israel.   

The Assembly also elected Mr Boris Biytman of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, as ASA representative in the Israeli Olympic Committee.

Chairman of Technical Committee: Mr Zachi Rozenstine (Institute of Rupin)
