European University Sports Association (EUSA) would like to invite you to register at this year's first ever European Universities Winter Championship, which will be held in Val di Zoldo, Italy between December 18 and 21, 2023.

European Universities Winter Championship will offer university sport competitions in Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the beautiful mountain setting of the Dolomites. The deadline to register is 18th of September. 

Three disciplines are foreseen to be featured in each of the two sports offered at the inaugural edition of the event : Slalom, Giant Slalom and Parallel.

Snow Volleyball will also be offered as a demonstrative sport.

We are happy to report a huge success in the so far completed championships, striving towards a record number by the end of the summer season, and to give you a reminder that it is still possible to register to this winter event through the national university sports bodies in European countries.

All events are open for men and women.  Current students and recent graduates from European universities aged between 17 and 30 are legible to take part. National university sports bodies in 47 countries in Europe are invited to submit the initial registrations - general entry forms as soon as possible. 

The championships have been organised annually since 2001, and since 2012 they are organised on a biannual basis, gathering student-athletes from universities all around Europe, providing them a chance to compete in team sports and in individual sports. This year, for the first time, a winter sports event is being organized.

The 2023 season of European Universities Championship begun with the Championship in Football, that took place in Tirana from June 25 until July 4. The summer season will be wrapped up with the Championship in Beach Sports from September 19-24, leading to an autumn break before the Val di Zoldo event that will occour the week before Christmas 2023.

The deadline to register is 18th of September.
