EUSA Convention 2014 will be hosted between November 13 and 16 in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana, where the European University Sports Association also has its secretariat and office.

 

The event is intended for the Organisers of the European Universities Championships in 2015 and EUSA Technical delegates. We expect one or two representatives of each EUC 2015 Organising Committee to take part in the Convention. Also the organisers of the European Universities Games will share their experiences.

 

During the Convention a general briefing on the terms and conditions as well as good practice examples will be provided. The Technical Delegates and EUSA representatives will meet with the Organising Committees of the Championships. No less than 19 sports will be featured at the European Universities Championships next year.

 

The 3-day convention is supported by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). It will feature various aspects of the organisation of EUSA championships, including an overall presentation, technical regulations and requirements, presentation of the volunteer programme, registration and accreditation system, medical requirements and other relevant topics, to ensure the quality of the European Universities Championships, offering assistance and cooperation in organisation of the events.
