European University Sports Association (EUSA) recognises efforts, achievements and contributions to university sports with annual special awards and recognitions. We are happy to share the recipients of the 2017 awards with you!

MOST ACTIVE NUSA 2017: Portuguese University Sports Federation (FADU), Portugal
The Most Active NUSA is the NUSA with the highest points obtained by organizing and participating in EUSA events.



MOST SUCCESSFUL NUSA: Polish University Sports Federation (AZS), Poland
The Most Successful NUSA is the NUSA with the highest points obtained at the final ranking in EUSA events.



MOST ACTIVE UNIVERSITY: University of Minho, Portugal
Most Active University is the university with the highest participation in the EUSA sports events in the year.



BEST UNIVERSITIES 2017: University of Bordeaux, France & Istanbul Aydin University, Turkey
The Best University is the university with the highest points obtained at the final ranking in the EUSA events.




ENNO HARMS FAIR PLAY AWARD 2017: Peter Waard (NED) & Marie-Charlotte Leger (FRA)
For the first implementation of the green card on EUSA events, for promoting and awarding Fair Play and good sportsmanship gestures on the field during the 12th European Universities Football Championship



SPECIAL AWARD: European Karate Federation (EKF)
For close partnership and cooperation in raising the profile of karate in European university sport.



LOGOTYPE AWARD: European Universities Bridge and Chess Championships Fuengirola 2017
Among the logotypes of the 2017 European Universities Championships, Facebook voting and EUSA commissions voted for the logo of the European Universities Bridge and Chess Championships Fuengirola 2017 as the best EUSA event logotype this year.



The awards will be officially presented to the recipients at the EUSA Gala, to be held as a part of the EUSA General Assembly in Madrid, Spain on April 13, 2018.
