Announcing cooperation between EUSA and CEV on Volleyball

On Thursday, October 26, the President of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) Mr Aleksandar Boricic and the President of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) Mr Adam Roczek signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding, following a meeting held at the CEV headquarters in Luxembourg. CEV Managing Director Mr Thorsten Endres and EUSA Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik attended the meeting and the signing ceremony as well.

The aim of the memorandum is to strengthen the cooperation and foster a closer partnership between the respective organisations. Volleyball was one of the two sports with which the European Universities Championships started in 2001, and EUSA volleyball events have been organised annually ever since. We look forward to be able to improve the conditions for our athletes through cooperation with CEV.
