Announcement of FISU Forum 2016
From 4 to 9 July, 2016, the 13th FISU Forum will be hosted in Montpellier, one of the oldest university cities in Europe and in the world. Some 300 students and university sport managers from over 50 countries are expected to take part.
The 2016 Forum is organised by the International University Sport Federation (FISU), in cooperation with French University Sport Federation (FFSU) and the local organising committee. The event is held every two years in even-numbered years.
Participants are students, university sports managers, representatives of international sport and non-sport federations, organisers of major FISU events, renowned academic speakers, FISU Family members and other interested participants.
The 6-day-program will feature plenary sessions, workshops, sports and cultural events, Forum Fair and other activities. Main objectives are to develop and strengthen the worldwide university sport movement; to develop interaction between all persons involved in sport in higher education institutions; to act as a learning and communication platform on university sport.
