In 2013, the Swedish University Sports Federation (SAIF) celebrates their 100th anniversary.The celebration is marked with several activities throughout the year. One of them was a reception held the 18th of September in Stockholm, to which delegates from the Swedish Sports Federations were invited.

 

In the picture above Mr Josef Ahman, Secretary General of SAIF, Mrs Birgitta Ljung, Secretary General of the Swedish Sports Federation, Mrs Karin Mattsson Weijber, President of the Swedish Sports Federation, Mr Sture Espwall, President of SAIF and Mrs Pia Zätterström, President of the Swedish Sports Educational Association.

 

The President of the Swedish Sports Organization for the Disabled and The Swedish Paralympic Committee Mrs Anna Stina Nordmark Nilsson congratulated the President of the Swedish University Sports Federation Mr Sture Espwall and Secretary General Mr Josef Åhman on the 100th year anniversary and handed them symbolic gifts at this ocassion.

5-11th May – European Universities Badminton Championship in Uppsala

11-14th June - FISU Rectors’ Forum in Umea

19th September – Reception for the Swedish Sports Federations in Stockholm

19-20th October –  Conference with member sports organizations in Uppsala

16th November – Floorball tournament in Trollhattan

7-8th December – Northern Light Lacrosse tournament in Lulea
