All-new EUSA Insider
Following the conclusion of the penultimate event in this year’s EUSA European Universities Championships summer programme, our traditional ‘EUSA Insider’ has been refreshed to include the views of participants who took part in this year’s championships.
From swinging clubs in Spain and smashing serves in Montenegro, to wonderous strikes in Portugal and slam dunks in Poland, it’s been a busy summer for Europe’s top university athletes who have showcased their skills in 20 of the 21 sports completed so far in this year’s EUSA sporting schedule.
The championships were held in good spirit, where the values of Fair Play were promoted and upheld, with all participants giving their all in their quest for gold.
Over the coming months on a weekly basis, we will profile a number of these student athletes as well as volunteers who assisted at our events, allowing them to share with us their experiences from the different championships, their favourite moments and their thoughts about university sport.
Kicking off the latest edition of EUSA Insider is Scottish golfer Colin Edgar, who achieved an individual silver medal while also winning gold in the men’s team category at this year’s European Universities Golf Championship held in Antequera, Spain.
