904 relay teams, 14 runners each, participated in the 42th SOLA relay in Zurich on May 9, 2015, perfectly organised by the Academic Sports Association of Zurich (ASVZ), in cooperation with the Swiss University Sports Federation (SHSV).

Among the 12'656 participants were also some academic authorities, such as Lino Guzzella President of the ETH Zurich, Michael Hengartner, Rector of Zurich University and Roger Meier, Director of Administration of the PU Zurich, as well as Olympic Champion Iouri Podladtchikov. The SOLA relay is the biggest University Sports Event in Switzerland and very popular already more than 40 years.



The team TV Oerlikon 1 won in 6:59:36 hours, nearly 7 minutes ahead of the Brownschen Spaziergänger. On the third place was also an Alumni team, LC Basel regio.
