Meanwhile, nearly 4,800 Chengdu 2021 FISU Games volunteers were provided with an opportunity to hone their skills and services during the test events. The competencies, preparedness, and familiarity with event procedures demonstrated by volunteers were evaluated through their on-the-field performance. This enabled targeted training or adjustments to be made to improve their skills and enhance the overall event experience.
The first accreditation card for the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games was also officially issued on 9 June, marking a significant milestone in the preparations for the sporting event.
Ms Zhou Zhili, the workforce, and volunteer manager at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Artistic Gymnastics Venue Operation Centre, was among the first to receive the initial batch of cards, marking the moment as exciting and a big highlight.
