2nd European Universities Handball Championship finishes
The 2nd European Universities Handball Championship finished today in Lodz, Poland. The Championship was organised by the Academic Sports Association of Poland and the Lodz Organising Committee.

20 university teams (14 men and 6 women) from 13 European countries participated on the event, among them also for the first time the university teams from Belarus (BLR), the country which is expected to join the EUSA membership this year.

The European Universities Champions 2007 became the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen Nurnberg (GER) in women, and the Belarusian State University (BLR) in men competition.
