2025 Erasmus+ and ESC Calls & Guides available

The European Commission published the new Erasmus+ Call for Proposals and Programme Guide for 2025, as well as the Call and Guide for the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) for next year.

These guides are essential to understating Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes, providing participating organisations and individuals a comprehensive list of opportunities supported by the respective programme. 

With a budget of €4,42 billion for call for proposals for next year, Erasmus+ will continue to support transnational experiences of school pupils, students in higher education and vocational education and training. The programme also offers opportunities to adult learners, educators and staff, and young people in non-formal learning programmes. From the total Erasmus+ budget for 2025, over €76,2 million is foreseen in the field of sport and over €379,2 million in the field of youth.

For Erasmus+ projects related to the field of sport, Key Action 1 application opportunity for Mobility of staff in the field of sport and youth, which are decentralised actions (managed by the national agencies) has project submission deadline February 12, 2025, while most of the Key Action 2 application processes for Cooperation partnerships and small-scale partnerships; Capacity building and Not-for-profit European sport events are centralised (managed by executive agency EACEA), with project submission deadline March 5, 2025. 

For European Solidarity Corps, volunteering and solidarity projects are the main fields of actions. The application process is decentralised (managed by the national agencies). The total budget for European Solidarity Corps actions for 2025 is €107,46 million, with project submission deadline February 20, 2025. 

These programmes provide an overview of the possibilities for projects to be funded by the European Union. Erasmus+ is one of the EU programmes, supporting funding in the fields of education, training, youth and sport; while the European Solidarity Corps supports volunteering and solidarity projects.
