Representatives of Organising Committees of the upcoming World University Championships recently met at the Headquarters of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) in Lausanne, sharing their plans and strategies ahead of the 2024 FISU World University Championships season.

During the course of the 3-day seminar, representatives of FISU provided guidance and suggestions to the future hosts while representatives of the Organising Committees presented their events.



As a good practice example, experiences of the Innsbruck 2022 FISU World University Championship Sports Climbing were shared by members of the Organising Committee.



Currently, 19 Championships are scheduled for next year. Most of them (11) will be organised in Europe, 3 in Asia, 3 in the Americas and 2 in Africa.



The 2024 season of the FISU World Championships will start in January with Ski Orienteering in Lenzerheide (SUI), and conclude with Shooting Sport in New Delhi (IND).
