The European Commission has published the new Erasmus+ Programme Call for Proposals and the new Erasmus+ Programme Guide for 2021.

The documents provide an overview of the possibilities for projects to be funded by the European Union within the Erasmus+ programme. 2021 is the first year of the new multiannual financial framework, EU long-term budget for the period 2021-2027. Erasmus+ is one of the programmes of the European Union, supporting funding in the fields of education, training, youth and sport.

For this year, over €53 million is foreseen in the field of sport, out of which 41,7 EUR are earmarked for the call for proposals. The application deadline is May 20, 2021 for projects starting in 2022. Substantial changes have been introduced in the project application process and funding principles, outlined also in the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day, organised earlier this week.
