2016 EUSA Student Commission meeting in Ljubljana

The Student Commission of the European University Sports Association met in Ljubljana, Slovenia on March 25, 2016.

Members of the Student Commission were welcomed at the EUSA Office in Ljubljana by Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, EUSA Secretary General and Mr Andrej Pisl, Communications and Projects Manager, as well as Ms Anett Fodor and Mr Romain Charrier, EVS volunteers who also joined the meeting.

Mr Pecovnik gave an overview of the importance of the Student Commission within the organisation and wished them a successful meeting. General Introduction into EUSA and the EUSA Student Commission (STC) were given next by Mr Pisl, before other points on the agenda were discussed.

EUSA STC discussions

In the productive meeting, EUSA STC Digital Campaign and within the field of Media and Communications also the monthly What’s Up column and Photo Competition were discussed, as well as one of the most visible and successful projects - EUSA Volunteer Program.

Special focus was given in the field of networking, both internally (cooperation with EUSA members and other Commissions within EUSA) and externally (cooperation with other organisations).

EUSA STC in Ljubljana

EUSA Student Commission (STC) is one of the oldest commission within EUSA, and ensures the voice of the students. The Commission is currently composed by Mr Conor Traynor (IRL), Ms Katarzyna Czalej (POL), Mr Grisha Amirkhanyan (ARM), Mr Seit Demiri (SLO), Ms Anna Edes (HUN), Mr Andrey Pavlov (RUS), Mr Nikola Vincetic (CRO) and is chaired by Ms Isabella Colafrancesco (GBR). Mr Andrej Pisl (SLO) acts as the Office liaison and secretary of the commission.
