Academic Sports Association Israel (ASA) held its General Assembly on Tuesday, November 24 at the Wingate Academic College in Netanya. The Assembly elected the new board for the period 2015-2019, confirming and re-electing Mr Victor Hadad as President.

The new Executive Committee plans to increase the number of students in competitive and recreational sports, also increasing the number of Physical Education lessons at the campuses by academic credit and encourage the students to participate in the competitions governed by the European University Sports Association (EUSA), as well as the International University Sports Federation (FISU).

President: Victor Hadad (Ben Gurion University)
Vice-President: Boris Baitman (Technion of Haifa)
EC members represent the following universities and colleges: Ben Gurion University, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Technion of Haifa, The Open University, Tel Aviv University, Haifa University, Wingate Academic College, Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, and Ohalo College.
