A two-day Continental University Sports Federations (CUSF) Meeting held at FISU’s Headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland took place earlier this week, with EUSA in attendance.

Led by FISU’s Education and Development Department, the meeting – which took place over 14-15 May – engaged continental representatives from AUSF (Asia), FISU America, FISU Oceania, FASU (Africa) and EUSA.



Present on behalf of EUSA was Sports Manager Besim Aliti and Development and Education Manager Sara Rozman.

The meeting, which aims to strengthen ties between FISU and the CUSFs, covered a wide range of topics including the FISU Strategy, WUC (World University Championships) and UWC (University World Cups), Media, Marketing and FISU’s financial support to CUSFs, amongst others.



Among the presentations made by each CUSF, EUSA was able to present the organisation and the various events and projects we are involved in, while also delivering a separate presentation on Institutional Partnerships, which discussed our sport and global partners.



Mr Aliti and Ms Rozman were able to meet and have fruitful discussions with a number of key FISU staff at the meeting including First Vice-President Mr Leonz Eder, Secretary General Mr Eric Saintrond, General Director Mr Paulo Ferreira and Education and Development Director Ms Lilia Barieva.
