1st EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY ROWING CHAMPIONSHIP
Cardiff, Wales
The inaugural edition of the European University Rowing Championship was held in Cardiff, Wales, the United Kingdom between July 22 and 24, 2005. The event was held in conjunction with the British Home Nations event, making for three days of rowing. 287 athletes in 63 crews from 11 countries formed the core activity base, supported by another 50 coaches, trainers and support technicians. Event was staged at the Cardiff Bay Rowing Course, utilising a brand new 1500m six lane course.
